Sushi tdai Tara in Shepherdsville

SUSHI IS NOT SERVED HERE. I drove out of my way for sushi. I left and went elsewhere.

Got the thom yum soup. It tasted nothing like what thom yum should be. The shrimp in it was limp and did not taste fresh. There was no lemongrass or any other herbs one would expect to be in thom yum.

So, we're not fans of any food here except the sushi...however, the sushi is very good. So, if you're going for that then you're good to go!

Excellent sushi and Thai food in Shepherdsville of all places, who would have guessed? My SO and I really enjoyed our meal of both sushi and Thai food, the place was clean and our waiter was nice although not around quite as attentive as we'd of liked. Still, I really recommend this place, especially if you like Thai food.

They were out of a lot of things when I went there, the food was okay. But the owners attitude was amazing, totally won me over.

A nice find especially for its convenience to I-65. Stick w/ the Thai entrees and specialities which are very good. The sushi is fresh but is served too cold. We have made this a regular stop on our way between Nashville and Indy.

Always closes early. Every time I go by they are closed. Won't be going there any more.

Very friendly staff and authentic food. Excellent Pad Thai. They have a Bento Box for $10 on saturdays and sundays that is great too. Sushi is very good as well. Jaguar roll and Golden Gate roll are my favorites. Mango sticky rice is the best dessert.

Wonderful little place! My husband and I went here a while back and the food was so good! We loved the small town feeling but the big city taste of their food!

Being relatively new to the area, I was I the hunt for both a great sushi and Thai restaurant and I managed to find both here. The food was fast and delicious, even though they were lacking in a lot of items. The yellow curry was absolutely mouth watering and one of the best I've had. The shrimp tempura roll had to keep being changed around cause they were unfortunately out of a majority of their sushi ingredients. The end product was fabulous though. The staff were extremely friendly and super helpful. This restaurant is amazing, just lacking a bit in the ingredient department.

The food was good....does not serve sushi even though it's in the name. Kind of a let down.

Sushi and the noodles are very delish. The staff is super friendly and out going ensuring your stay is wonderful.

The food was great the portions were just right. And it was a calm environment. It was a little pricey but worth it. Now all they need is beer. Lol

The red curry is superb. The rice portion is slightly smaller than usual but a great dish over-all

The Pad Thai was okay. I asked for spicy but did not find it to be spicy at all. Next time I will try the sushi. The restaurant was very clean and quiet.

The food was pretty good. The service was good. I'd recommend it.

Excellent food and service should be full of truck drivers but I think there scared to cross the street or walk bring your own sake no liquor here

My wife and I had no idea you could get sushi this good in shepherdsville. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back.

I'm happy to see they are still open. The owner is amazing! I miss her dearly! I am not living in California and I have yet to find Shrimp Tempura Roll as good as the one at Sushi Thai Tara. I will be back to visit someday. Keep up the great work!
